More from Post Production.......

It's Thursday again and I've had an incredibly busy time this week. We've been busy making lots of nice prints for fabulous photographers and artists and also shooting paintings again. We had a beautiful painting by Vincent Beagley who runs East Precinct Gallery on Bondi Rd, his work is truely unique and wonderful. The painting was of 'Cows' and was a little tricky to shoot due to the subtle tones he creates, anyway it is done now and we made a beautiful A1 print on Somerset Velvet Watercolour paper for him.
I am in the final phase of shooting new content for Matt Kemps wonderful 'Restaurant Balzac' in Randwick. We are heading to the Fish Market tomorrow morning and I am hoping for clear weather, lets see. I will post some shots once I have edited them down. In the meantime here are some more from recent shoots.

Have a good weekend....

Nearly There....

Well we have almost finished shooting. We have one more set of images to get at the Fish Markets and then we will be in full post production.
Final image selection will be by Matt and Yaz ( Matt's trusted Restaurant Manager ) who has been helping to arrange everything around Matt's very busy schedule, big thanks to her...

Macro Shoot....

Well it's been a busy week with shoots. Matt Kemp sent me over some beautiful vegetables with great textures to shoot for the his new website. I used back lighting in the kitchen with reflectors and some tungsten. Lens choice was easy, I used my 60mm Nikon Macro Lens, a beautiful prime lens.

I've also included some images of a painting I shot this week on the Mamiya with the Leaf Digital Back and also some product shots for a hairdressers, also shot on the Mamiya....

Enjoy your weekend.

Yesterday morning I met Matt Kemp out at Flemington markets and we shot some great images of his morning runs to pick up fresh produce for the restaurant. Next week we are heading over to the Fish Market which I am sure will produce some great images too. Big thanks to Matt who bailed me out with some cash as I left the house in a hurry and had no parking money. I owe you mate....

In the heat of the moment - Kitchen 'Balzac'....

Hello and welcome to my new blog. I thought it was time to move into the 21st century so I will be posting images and information here of shoots that I am currently working on.

Currently I am shooting Matt Kemps beautiful 2 hat 'Restaurant Balzac' in Randwick. Matt asked me to shoot new content for the launch of his new website. I have spent the last few weeks there in the early mornings and late evenings getting some great images together. I am looking to create images showing that this is a classy restaurant but a working one. All the guys in the kitchen let me spend 5 hours with my cameras floating about shooting and trying to not get in the way. We got some fantastic shots of the kitchen in full swing, it was an amazing experience I can tell you and utterly exhausting. A big thank you to all the staff at Balzac for putting up with me just saying 'Another shot, just one more'.....

Tomorrow we head off to the Flemington Market and then on to the Fish Market. I have a few more shots to get of the interior and then I will be in full post production mode. For those interested I have been using a Mamiya 645 with a leaf digital back and my trusty Nikon D100's with the ever sharp 50mm, 85mm, 35mm and 60mm Macro...

Here are some shots to date of the shoot...Thanks alot...Cam x
